As mentioned in my post, our school does not have its’ own vision statement rather there is one vision representative of the district. I certainly agree that it is beneficial for teachers to highlight how the school is striving to achieve its’ vision and it is essential to provide indicators of those goals for each grade or department level. For a vision to be achieved, constituents need to understand what actions they should perform to help the community achieve it. In the vision statement Garrett Academy identifies the who and where they want to be in the future. The who the vision seeks to address are the students, who are at the forefront of any educational institution. The question of where they want them to go is also answered in the vision statement by saying they want each graduate to have the skills necessary

It is a belief that one’s own culture is superior to that of others. Due to this feeling, any element from another culture that is different with one’s own culture, is considered wrong, bad or even dangerous. Just like the feeling that people of Israel think about themselves that is they are the chosen people of Allah SWT.
