Honesty is another vital core value when it comes to Ingalls. This value runs hand and hand with integrity. Honesty can be cruel to the success of this company because the customer and shareholders trust Ingalls with their money in order to get the job done. As a apprentice honesty is important to my job because my Forman trust me to get a job done without holding my hand. Honesty is very important to Ingalls because our customers, shareholders and manager expect is to be truthful, trustworthy and honorable in all aspects of our work. Integrity and honesty are often thought to coincide: many people believe that is true. Author Stephen L. Carter wrote “The Insufficiency of Honesty”, which was published in the Atlantic Monthly in 1996. He argues that a person can have honesty without ever reflecting back on whether or not what they believe is necessarily true, which is not exactly integrity. Carter builds his credibility in his writing by stating that he was giving a university commencement address, citing statistics and using prominent sources. He also gives well thought out examples to help strengthen his argument that one can be honest without having integrity.
Integrity: We say what we believe, and we do what we say. We are trusted because we are trustworthy. Our personal, team, and organizational values are aligned with everything that we say and everything that we do.

Stephen L. Carter links integrity and honesty. There are three constraints discussed in this essay. First, integrity does require a degree of moral reflectiveness. Second, Integrity may cause conflict that is must be resolved. It does not necessarily produce or protect interpersonal harmony. Third, a person who has integrity can be trusted. It does not avoid the restructuring of social structures and associations, because it leaves the matter to exercise of interpersonal authority.

I and my employees will place integrity above all and will have strong moral principles, and will always display sincerity, truthfulness and be trustworthy in all that we do so that my nor my subordinate’s integrity will ever be questioned.
Workforce engagement is the feeling of emotional connection someone has to their workplace. An engaged employee feels satisfied and enthusiastic about their work. They feel valued, driven, and that they belong to part of a team. This is the way a school should feel for its employees. When teachers and staff of a school are engaged in fulfilling the work of the school they show higher levels of performance and thereby increase the achievement of students. Principals should know the engagement level of their staff and also any events or feelings that may impact that engagement level.

The United States of America is known as a world power, but has the U.S truly earned such a great title? The U.S. make itself out to be one of the greatest countries in the world when in all honesty it isn’t all that it’s made up to be. Americans say we live in the land of the free and the home of the brave, but I don’t believe that this is one hundred percent true.
