Was the Moon landing real or a hoax? The moon landing was a major scientific breakthrough and a great day for America. The problem is, it might’ve been faked. There are many pieces of evidence showing that it could have been faked but there is also evidence showing that the moon landing could have also been real. I believe that the moon landing was not a hoax. The flag was blowing in the wind but how was it supposed to stop if there is no friction on the moon? The astronauts' shadows don’t match the lunar light source because there was a matte box on the camera . That there were absolutely no stars in the sky because the pictures were taken during the day.

On July 20th, 1969, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon....or so they say. It has been debated that the landing was actually fake, based on some characteristics in the photos that were taken on the moon. While majority thinks that the moon landing was indeed real, there is more evidence that proves it was fake. For example: The American flag planted in the moon, Buzz Aldrin’s footprint, and mysterious lights appearing in the sky all have hidden things in their photos that could have been impossible in outer space.

Many accomplishments throughout the years, in the United States have formed our country to a nationalist society. On July 20th, 1969, the Mission Control Center in Houston, Texas received the call, “Houston”, which confirmed the landing of these three astronauts on the moon. Recently though, many discussions of the Apollo 11 mission have astonished thoughts of many Americans. Conspiracy theorists are looking at the Moon Landing as a hoax and one big set up that Americans were fooled into believing actually happened. In 1974, Bill Kasying wrote a book entitled We Never Went to the Moon:

Conspiracy theories have been around since the beginning of time. When NASA sent the first landed on the moon, there are people who believed that NASA faked the moon landings. Men, such as Bill Kaysing, the Flat Earth Society, and Davie Groves, and Bart Sibrel, have written books, delivered lectures, and made videos about why they believed NASA faked the moon landings. Based on their observations which include no stars in their pictures, NASA's drive to beat the Russians to the moon, and a way to distract people from the Vietnam war, the group believes that the moon landings were faked.

It wasn 't until I really sat down and thought about it that I realized the moon landing was questionable. As a kid I always thought it would be amazing to be an astronaut so the thought that maybe there is no real astronauts at all had me concerned. On July 20th 1969, the Apollo 11 with astronaut Neil Armstrong and his crew, guided by thousands of NASA technicians, supposedly landed in the surface of the moon. This landing at its time was considered the most amazing technological advancement in the history of mankind. The moon landing is something that everyone knows about but as it turns out about 20% americans and 50% or Ukrainians don 't believe the moon landing really happened, here 's why.

In 1969 The Vietnam War was going on and America was going to lose. No matter what happened America was losing too many soldiers. So NASA could have faked the whole thing just to bring morale to America.

Although Technology to fake the moon landing did not exist at the time, the U.S. Government was desperate to beat the Russians in the space race, faked the lunar landings by having NASA. Stage the whole thing. There has been a number of people who believe the moon landings never actually happened, faked right before our eyes maybe by our own government and other organizations.Our Government merely could have cheated public people out of billions of tax dollars just so they could beat the soviet union in the space race. NASA could have easily tampered with the photos tapes and other evidence just to make us believe that man has been to the moon. Conspirator’s more than likely believe by reason of this would not be the first time the gov has lied or hid something from the people. Who is to say man did go to the moon who’s to say we didn't there are many arguments for and against the moon landing did NASA really have the technology to do this?

Since the time of the first moon landing, America has launched more expeditions to the moon. However, today many people are questioning whether the moon was a hoax or if it was real. Some of the people that believe the moon landing was a hoax are actually scientists. Their scientific theories about why the moon landing was a fake include, the technology, radiation, and the atmosphere of the moon. As a result, the issue is a very controversial one and has attracted a lot of dispute of why the moon landing was a hoax.

Yet, present evidence can support the authenticity of the moon landing. Evidence such as photos, rock samples, technology, and computer monitoring support the moon landing.
