I feel certain that you will be just as impressed with Walid as I am. Walid is a hard-working, brilliant and highly motivated young student and he has leadership skills. He is creative and pro-active. He has the ability to use his own initiative, to think for himself and to overcome difficulties. He has the right skills to resolve problems, and the personal resilience to handle the challenges and pressure they may bring. He is a great team player and has the ability to lead effectively. He found and was the chair man of Halaqa "Ring", a series of meetings were dental students gathered to talk about and debate on different issues. He is charismatic; he is confident in a positive way, without being boastful or egotistical. He pays careful attention
worked in multiple Manhattan clothing stores from American Apparel, Abercrombie & Fitch, to Bape Clothing. After many month of saving up money, Kid Cudi moved into an apartment with Dot Da Genius in Brooklyn. The two produced and developed the sound of Kid Cudi: off-key singing, melodic rap, and humming. Now in 2006, a producer brought Kid Cudi to meet Plain Pat, who was at the time an A&R for Def Jam. Pat listened to Cudi’s mixtape, but no deal was made that night. Few weeks pass by and they run into each other at a club, Cudi was introduced to Haynie by Pat, Haynie has produced for rappers Eminem, Ghostface Killah, Ice Cube, and many more. All three became close friends and business partners, at times they would be perceived as parents who would always worry about Cudi’s safety. They encountered where they would fly to different states from Toronto to Philadelphia to perform for less than 200 people, they would earn not much money, but would stay out the whole night as if they were the wealthiest people at the moment.
For me, solving problems of everyone associated with the institution has become a matter of pride. Whether students are facing emotional problems and stress due to pressure of study, I have solved them through individualized counseling. My analytic skills and ability to provide diplomatic solutions to the administration of the facility have ensured trouble-free operations. I even initiated and led an outreach program in liaising with the community leaders and motivated youngsters to take education and do their part for the
With versatile communication skills and a contagious sense of humor, Mrs. Pierce is the most effective leader I know personally. I am always impressed how she can navigate uncomfortable, tense social situations with students and co-workers alike with so much ease. By treating other with respect and demanding nothing less in return, she earns admiration and loyalty and compels others to achieve their absolute
It was an awkward day at Wal-mart. I was tripping all over the place. It felt as if I was blind. I thought it was going to be a normal day at Wal-mart. We parked our car and headed inside. It was pitch black. The only lights you could see were from the self check-out boards and they were hardly bright at all. My mom said we should go and come back another day, but my dad said we needed groceries badly. I thought we could use our phones, but we left them at the house. We hardly brought our phones with us anymore. So, it was going to be a weird grocery shopping day. Once we walked in we started our usual route and I bumped into a couple of people. I kept hearing people saying “ouch”. I bumped into the aisles hit my head a couple of times. My
In April 11, 2005 I started as general labor. I used to stack bags of different weights of 40 lbs. 50 lbs. and 51 lbs. on wooden pallets. After a year I learned how to operate a Forklift, later I also learned how to mix the different product in order to be able to bag them. After 6 years I was able to perform all of the different job on the warehouse including how to drive an 18 wheeler truck. Before my 7th year I was promoted to floor supervisor. Now I was in charge of a group of 8 to 10 people. A year later now I was in charge up to 20 to 30 people. Mid way on my 8th year I was promoted to Warehouse and Scale House Assistant Manager. I was in charge of 70+ people. I learned how to operate a heavy truck weight scale.
I recently had the opportunity to visit a 15 year old Searcy High School student, Erin Mcguirt, as well as her mom and dad Becky and Allen McGuirt. Erin is the youngest of three. She has a sister, Samantha, who is 23 years old. Erin said she wonders if Samantha has ever forgiven her for all the pranks she played on her. I couldn't let the word, "pranks" just slide by without inquiring about a few details. We all laughed as Erin told us about putting fish good, shaving cream, and things she got on vacation, under Samantha's mattress. Who doesn't love a great prank, especially if they aren't the recepiant?!
As I put down the microphone, I could hear my friends screaming in the back of the cafeteria, as I finished my election speech to be on the National Honor Society executive board. Forcing myself to give that speech turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have always wanted to make an impact on my community, and be a leader, but I always felt too shy, or too scared. That all changed when I was elected onto the NHS executive board. Ever since being elected, I have become very familiar with the four words: character, service, leadership, and scholarship. They are constantly impacting my daily life, as I impact my local community. Being on board has been tremendous in teaching me more about what it takes to be a true leader
K.W. reports that there are many ways to describe a leader; however, the most important one in the health care industry would be flexibility (K. Wilcox, personal communication, March 24, 2016). K.W. believes that one must be able to adjust to each and every situation according to what is needed; sometimes you must be passionate and show this where at other times you must be reserved (K. Wilcox, personal communication, March 24, 2016). He states that you must display courage through the tough decisions that present, remaining humble enough to admit when you do not know the answers (K. Wilcox, personal communication, March 24, 2016). He believes that leadership is like any other skill, just like in nursing you are taught how to start an IV, it is a skill that is learned and developed overtime (K.
Leader and determined, are two words to describe Scott. Scott has mastered the role of student with ease. It has been a pleasure to know Scott throughout his high school career. He is a student who has needed minimal direction and truly loved high school from day one. As a freshman, Scott entered high school motivated, driven and ready to get involved. He is a goal oriented individual and continues to reach his goals with tremendous success. Throughout his life, just as in high school, he is involved with various activities. Each one highlights talents and strengths of Scott that I have seen grow throughout the past several years.
Lauren Jackson displays superb leadership in my classroom and is clearly one of the best students I have taught. She is well spoken, determined, and passionate. We at Downingtown East are proud to have a student like Lauren Jackson at our school. She will make a substantive contribution to the State Officer Team of the Pennsylvania Future Business Leaders of America.
In sharing all this, I hope to convey to you what I see and have experience: that David is not simply a hired staff member—he is someone who is deeply committed, who strives successfully every day to do his best and to make a difference. David is dependable, honest, and kind; he cares about people and is always available to answer questions and assist others, even during his busiest moments.
As a leader, he knows when it’s necessary to take initiative in a situation and recognizes hard work whenever he sees it. While facilitating a workshop together for this year’s Region Training Conference, I was impressed by his capability of tackling the responsibilities being thrown at him. Whenever a task needed to be done, he completed it as soon as possible and strived to not procrastinate. Most importantly, he leads by example: he sacrifices his personal time to attend events whenever additional help is needed and encourages members to be more involved with the club. By doing so,
The Approaches to Planning in Health Care class (HCAP 2100) is designed to improve and strengthen management and leadership skills in health care as students’ progress into upper level courses and to graduate training and on to transitioning into the “Real” workforce. As I reflect on the results of the assessments mentioned above, I have learned that my character traits persuade me to be a leader that looks after the well-being of all individuals, teachers and students. It can also be determined, that as a leader I will abide to policies and procedures and be able to make arrangements in order to collaborate and come to a consensus to reach a positive outcome. Furthermore, my hardworking character will strive to
