What did you plan to teach and/or do (transitions, management, accommodations)? Did you teach the plan you made?
For morning meeting, we did a morning message, calendar time, and DEAR. Today for reading intervention, I planned to play sight word around the world. I ended up not doing this game because there were only two students in my group. We needed at least one more to play the game. For reading centers, we discussed Eskmios and what they were like. We also discussed some of their traditions, like how they do not use technology. Then we colored in our own Eskimos, while discussing if we would want to live in the Arctic or not. For our ELA center, we worked on summarizing a story. We filled out a beginning, middle, and end recording sheet.
Did you make adjustments? What adjustments did you make during your teaching time and/or block time and why?
I made a few adjustments in my plan today. Instead of playing my sight word game, we read a story that I decided to bring last minute. I figured if the students got bored we would read it. I was so thankful I brought it! With this story we wrote sentences and drew pictures to match. This was the perfect time to review with the two students from yesterday who needed their picture to match their sentence. I also finished the morning meeting way sooner than I had expected. For the five minutes we waited on Ms. Pray we did DEAR time. I thought this was a good idea because it gave the student’s choices in what they were reading.
Creating a well managed classroom involves deliberate planning and thought. Like the study of science, each part of the classroom scheme builds upon others and the classroom becomes an intertwined community of interdependent parts. In science, there are underlying laws that structure all other scientific actions and reactions. Similarly, the underlying classroom philosophy provides the backbone for my classroom management plan.
First knowing the subject, then deciding the length of the lesson and which key stage is it aimed for.
Review your role, responsibilities and boundaries as a teacher in terms of the teaching/ training cycle.
Today I arrived at 8: 30. I organised the classroom and made it ready for pupils to come. After assembly we did some time table practice. Next we had a new lesson for numeracy skills and I supported a group of students. L. O. Was about the name of 2 D shapes and how can we recognise them. First Miss B explained about the topic and she draw the shapes on the bored.
I have heard that for many beginning teachers, classroom management can be one of the most challenging aspects of their new career. Knowing this, I decided to experiment with many classroom management approaches during my student teaching to find one that fit both my students and myself. Based on these experiences, I designed a classroom management plan that I will implement in my classroom as a beginning teacher. It is important to note, however, that my classroom management philosophy will be evolving as necessary as I gain more experience and insight into the field of teaching. Also, my classroom management plan may need to be altered to fit my specific group of students.

Discussed data keeping and communication with paras and parents. I subbed for a para who was out sick. I did not have any lesson or behavior plans to work with. I requested to see lesson plans and she did not have anything prepared for the day.
My new assignment moved me to be with the fifth graders in Ms. Bolds’ room. I had heard of each of these students but hadn’t met them. It took some adjusting, and more adjusting, but I got to know each of these new fifth graders. We also invited some “pull out” students to our room every day for some extra help with Math and Writing. This made our room crazy at times. One of the things I love about this job is that I never have the same day twice.
The first thing we did was all gather and make a PowerPoint to gather our information, and put the cites we were using for our information. I found the political cartoon and PSA for the group. We figured to do everything on our own then come back later to see where we were. Somewhere ahead and a couple were somewhere behind. Next we had to make a preview of our topic and what question our research related to. We had some problems because some people were gone and some did not do the there work. So I made the preview for our group and presented it to the class. The next day most of us had our worksheets done but one of us did not so we had to present with 3 instead of 4. I though I contributed to the group because I did my work on time.
Over the course of this semester in Operation Management, I have obtained a wealth of information that I can use in my current position as an IT manager with Porterville Unified School District. As an IT manager, I am responsible for over the technology as twenty-two school sites and a handful of ancillary support sites. I manage eight Tech 1s and two Tech 2s, which requires me to do Scheduling and Project Management for these techs. I also need to think about maintenance and forecasting with each project the technology department will under takes as well as inventory of all our current equipment.

Classroom management is a key element to establish a successful learning environment in any classroom. An effective classroom management plan creates a positive learning environment. Classroom management is affected by the characteristics of the students and their behavior. Students’ behavior is influenced by their age, academic abilities, goals, interests, and home backgrounds (Evertson, Emmer, and Worsham, 2006). Teachers need a diverse array of classroom management skills to facilitate learning. A classroom with a proper management plan will spend less time in disciplining and more time in learning. Students in effectively managed classrooms know and follow clearly defined rules and routines. A classroom management plan should provide

There is nothing more frustrating than a room where you can’t find anything and are unsure of your boundaries. Classroom management begins even before the students enter the classroom on the first day. In order to establish the proper work environment students should have an assignment waiting on their desks as soon as they enter the room. In my case this will be some sort of a tell me about yourself and what you think about science activity. In addition teachers should greet their students at the door with directions for seating and instruction to alleviate some of the confusion that usually plagues classrooms on the first day. It doesn’t matter if teachers
Why am I a teacher? When I was a child I always had to pretend play school with my friends and I always had to be the teacher. My mom was a preschool teacher at the local day care center and I grew up seeing her cut bulletin boards and plan lessons. My best friend in middle school 's mom was also a teacher. I never wanted to be anything else and didn 't really have a back up plan if this teaching thing didn 't work out. In this paper I will take you on a journey through my educational years in elementary school and middle school, my time high school, delve into my time in college and then into my career as a teacher.
