Transference is the unconscious transference of feelings about one person onto another this can be either positive or negative in feelings and outcomes . Transference is an unconscious instinctive thoughts about someone based on past experiences with people similar anything from age, colour, sex, sound, size, shape etc e.g. if someone was attacked by a small hispanic man then they may have an unconscious fear surrounding all small hispanic men . Counter transference Counter transference is when a client responds back to you in a certain way ,with certain words which can bring about unconscious feelings in you
held and acted upon by a person’s subconscious mind and often is unknown to them
Countertransference first introduced by Freud, “as a therapist’s unconscious reaction to a patient’s transference” (Dass-Brailsford, pg. 293, 2007). This concept has since become known as a normal emotional reaction to a client.
The individual's mind may affect not just his or her body, but the body of another person at a distance, even when that distant individual is unaware of the effort. (http://www.dosseydossey.com/larry/QnA.html).
I think the most interesting parts about transference to me was the idea that emotion is linked with memories or even words. This idea got me thinking more. I thought to myself about a single word that without transference would have no meaning to me. The word I choose was “soccer.” Now when I first start thinking about soccer I think about the ball that is used, what the field looks like, some of the rules to the game, all of which are basic knowledge that are connected to the word that give it its definitional meaning to me. I than found myself thinking about all the years I spent playing it, the friendships I gained, the goals I’ve scored, all of which made me smile a little bit while thinking about them. Now, with transference I could have followed one of those new ideas down a different path of activation (such as thinking about the friends I have
Vilayanur Ramachandran introduces the idea that the only reason that people do not mimic or feel what others are feeling, for example if you were to watch other people shake hands you understand how it feels but you will not exactly fill it in that moment, is because of our skin. Skin is the main factor that keeps the brain for sending that final message to actually procedure with the action. It connects us with others and gives humans a better understanding of each other.
Aro: Tactile telepathy (The ability to read someone’s mind by making physical contact with them)
Energy of that person can communicate with you at the unconscious level. If that person has positive energy, it is likely that this energy will come to you. It is like brain entrainment which I explained in detail in the article Brain Waves and Their Effects on You. We are vulnerable at the energy level to outside energies. One big source of outside energy is the people that we mix up with and interact with.
As a matter of fact, the way a person communicates is a significant reflection of his/her mindset; hence, through their conversations, Psyche is able to understand the internal world of his lover and build up psychologically empathetic connection with him. (Quotes from the story of Cupid and Psyche that she is able to feel his kindness.) Without the intervention of illusive perception, Psyche senses the concern from her husband more distinctly by heart, and consequently enforces their association in later time. (outwardly attractive)
C. The connection between the two (7 points): Previous research suggest that there is an unconscious interplay between one’s internal feelings and physical experiences. If it is found in this study that holding a cup of hot coffee makes one feel the interpersonal warmth of other people, and that person is not aware of such impact, then we will have evidence that people’s interpersonal judgements of other people are indeed unconsciously affected by physical warmth.
Transference, which many researchers believe to be a dangerous life threatening viral mutation. This paper will argue that Emotional Transference is the controlling force that oppresses the world as a society, through distorting reality, causing confusion and ignorance, and through creating a faux entitlement/superiority complex. These three symptoms combined and expanded to create the curtain between the world as it is now, and the utopian it can be.
The mind/body connection are very strong or you could say your thoughts and physiology are closely tied. When your mind think about something it will send the information about what you think and processing the information and your body will receive the information to make it right. For example, when the lunch time and you see someone is having food, then immediately you feel that you are hungry and need some foods too. Another example that easy to see when you think about hot and cold then your body will feel it hot and cold by following your thinking, like me, when it
Those who are securely attached have the ability to identify their own feelings, whilst being able to consider the possible reactions and feelings of others and the causes and effects. The ability to do this is referred to as reflective functioning (Allen, 2005; Crittenden, 2006), Portia exhibits poor reflective functioning, expressing her confusion about her mother and brothers reaction to her weight loss when she returns to Australia for Christmas.
This person will feel better after the conversation. Yet, the untrained empath experiences intense emotions without knowing where they are coming from. Then, he learns later that a loved one is experiencing the same thing too. In a room full of people, an untrained empath experiences an extreme change from one emotion to the next. However, he calms down when he is by himself.
Falling in /out of love is a mental process based on strictly ‘one pole’ status, and on the automatic function of procreation. It is ‘artificially’ released process of attraction. NO WILL IS INVOLVED! A Large portion of emotional life is converted into ‘sex-urge’ known under term ‘Falling in Love’ with sub-aspects as eroticism & mating. A Clear example of an ‘unintellectualized feeling’ or ‘falling in love’ is uncontrolled, ‘red hot’ expression of ‘affection’ for hardly known or completely unknown individual of opposite pole domination, which in favorable terms intensely subconsciously stimulates ‘procreation –provider’ aspect. That ‘stimulator’ could be nearby or thousand miles away, could be just an ‘untouchable’ image on the TV or mobile screen, which prolongs the longing because of unattainability, but an ‘image’ always with projected ‘associated’ superb features.
Emotions are reactions to a person (seeing a friend at work may make you feel
