Running is the epitome of exercise. With the lack of training or equipment required, it is an easy sport to practice. But many still agree that while it is easy, it is not very fun. It may seem monotonous, too vigorous, or simply boring. While it is known that jogging has many health benefits, the lack of enjoyment may be worse than a lack of exercise for many. Some even believe that running is more harmful than helpful, especially to the bones. I would argue that running should be an essential part of every exercise routine. Jogging daily can lower the chances of certain physical ailments and also relieve the symptoms of some mental illnesses. It even has proven to aid in bone development. So why not run? There is no debate on whether running has health benefits or not. It is widely understood that running is a great way to strengthen muscles and burn calories.
