Resources used will be primarily the project team members. To reduce risk all members need to be aware of the project schedule so that the right team members are available at the right times. Adequate computer resources, physical space and other support staff need to be ensured so that the project does not fall behind schedule.
The implementation phase is to combine the individual components of the system, verify and test, convert data and integrate system components, document and install the system. (Post & Anderson). The project’s risks and probability of its success will be based on the feasibility study that included both economic via cost-benefit analysis and legal reviews. Moreover, before the sign off a great deal of financial analysis went into this project including ROI (projected return on investment) and NPV (projected Net Present Value). The (ROI) is a calculation that measures the average rate of return earned on the money invested in the project. NPV is a basic formula to convert future cash flow to present value. (Thomson, Strickland, and Gamble) We will employ the phased deployment approach which is a deployment method that installs the new CSMS system and make it operational in a series of phases. This kind of deployment reduces the risk because failure is isolated to one subsection of the deployment

The subsystem with the lowest expected transaction volume should be brought on-line first so that if any errors or problems come up then they can be corrected without disrupting the other systems. Furthermore, if the same error would come up in subsequent systems due to similar processes those errors can be corrected prior to implementation. This approach will also allow gradual testing of business layer and data layer functions and subsystems such as inventory and
1. Planning Risks: Inadequate time to plan, allocate resources and scheduling thoroughly for projects completions and budget parameters.
Finally, in order to complete a more accurate comparison between the two projects, we utilized the EANPV as the deciding factor. Under current accepted financial practice, NPV is generally considered the most accurate method of predicting the performance of a potential project. The duration of the projects is different, one lasts four years and one lasts six years. To account for the variation in time frames for the projects and to further refine our selection we calculated the EANPV to compare performance on a yearly basis.
Evaluating the risks, calculating the probability of success, and factoring in the projected profit from sales will provide a clearer NPV to be compared with other projects in the
In my current position, as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, I work for a large pulmonary office where my main focus is to take care of patient’s needs by teaching them about their pulmonary disease and helping them improve their breathing. One way that we achieve this goal is by enrolling them in Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Our hypothesis is that through education and exercise; patients improve daily routines, feel better about themselves and function more independently. The null hypothesis would be that Pulmonary Rehabilitation does not help patients improve daily routines, feel better or function more independently. The alternative hypothesis is that Pulmonary Rehabilitation will improve daily routines, help the patients to feel better, and function more independently.
According to my calculations, I have a BMI of 27.6 which puts me in the category of being overweight. A person my age and height should have and ideal weight ranging from 160lbs to 175lbs. Many risk factors that are associated with being overweight includes, coronary heart disease, hypertension, stroke, type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, cancer, osteoarthritis, and sleep apnea. I consider myself a healthy overweight person because BMI cannot dictated everyone healthy state such as body builders; I perform similar workouts to body builders so I am at my BMI goal.
I would say the top domains of my life right now would include family, faith, friends, and independence. This corresponds very similar to the age group from twenty-five years to thirty-four years. I include faith as one of my values instead of work. I personally believe that work could be included in the same category as independence, because in some way they both relate to maturity throughout a persons life. One thing that I was extremely shocked with about Baltes and his colleague’s domains is that none of them included faith. I believe this is a very important aspect and should be included in every age category. In the oldest category, eighty-five to one hundred and five, there was a category called thinking about life. I believe
Prior to this course I have used statistics in my professional life. During my previous employment at the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine I worked in the student admissions which made my primary job focus the student application process. This process required me to compile statistical information on our applicant pool for faculty and administrative staff to determine who would be accepted. This statistical data included both categorical data, such as current grade level in undergraduate studies, gender, and ethnicity, as well as numerical data such as age, GPAs, average number of courses taken in a semester, credit hours completed, and test scores (Mirabella, 2011). After the admissions process was completed, these different
As a retail manager, we had numerous projects that had to be completed. We had weekly floor sets that had to be executed weekly. Having a given time frame with and so much to do, I scheduled adequate store coverage so that I could work undisturbed on completing my project. With written directions and even pictures of demonstrations I easily executed and even excelled in the floor sets. I got them done in a timely fashion, with minimal clutter and the store still running smoothly.
The provider had an authorization on file approving the dental services advising that they were medically necessary. But when the provider billed, they only advised the services were dental and not medical. Therefore causing the claim to deny. Also, provider didn’t reference their authorization number in box 63 of their claim form which would have voided the claim from denying. This claim will be sent back to be reprocessed. Please advise and ETA of 01/13.
For this assignment I was asked to make two sample sequence with images from Week 4 Assignment 2. I like sequence two the best, because it displays more of what's going on during the concert, for example, face painter with a client and a juggler in action. Sequence one is more of an introduction, that's why the opening image is an overall view of the crowd, the second image is of the band sound check, the third is the announcer, and then the band opening and so on.. I chose the closing images, because it is a final image that sums up the evening. I want the audience to interpret from the sequences that they got to experience the event themselves, from start to end.
I had an intuition that the managers and leaders would score higher than other employees. Three leaders were assessed within our department and their scoring ranged from 99-112. There was an outlier score of 115 from an executive assistant and wondered if they really felt the way they answered or wanted to score better? However, after I thought about it, she is an executive assistant to the Chief Medical Officer who is now an Executive Vice President so she may have a very knowledgeable understanding of our strategic mission. Four employees scored 67-91, who are lower level status employees. According to ISO (n.d.) organizations need to encourage and involve employees because they are a critical to producing and providing value. I believe
However, need more time and the information in order to weigh all possible options and project eventual scenarios. Therefore, I will get back with the definite response by the end of this week, perhaps even tomorrow.
My placement is in two sixth-grade classes, math and social studies. In my current 6th grade math placement, I am not seeing any differentiation of instruction or assessment based on their language proficiency levels. As I was discussing this assignment with my teacher, it was very difficult for her to give me any of this information. She had to look on the computer to find out who was an ELL and how many ELL students she had, as well as the number of IEP students she had. After realizing she did
Using resources effectively is very important for the business as well as helping maintaining staff safety, stock management, minimising
One of the main concerns during the meeting was the impact of cost and time constraints on networking techniques and project schedules. Under the ideal situation, the project start and end dates are fixed. Adding resources is not usually feasible as it increases cost. There should be a balance between time and cost constraints as it avoids wasting of resources. Also most people are willing to accept that costs could exceed expectations, and might even take a perverse delight in recounting past examples, the same is not true for time constraints. This is probably due to the fact that cost over runs are resolved in-house, while schedule issues are open and visible to the customer. A company has a lot of useful, desirable work that could be done, but has limited and finite resources available with which to do that work. Choices have to be made about which work to do and how to allocate resources. This leads to constraints especially, the time constraint and the cost constraint. Time, in project management, is analyzed down to its smallest detail. Each and every component of the project is analyzed with respect to the time required for completion. After completion of this analysis these components are broken down even further into the time required to do each task.
