Expert Solution
Step 1

Briefly explain the Centrifugal casting technique with a neat diagram?

Step 2

Centrifugal casting is categorized as three types 1) True centrifugal2) Semi centrifugal3) Centrifuging

1) True centrifugal casting In centrigugal casting the molten metal is deposited inside the force under centrifugal force action.In order to develop the centrifugal force  mould should have rotational motion and the magnitude of centrigugal force is given by F = mrω2In centrifugal casting mould is made in the form of tube or pipe ( generally same permemant material is used) which is rotated at a very high speed in the lathe. The molten metal is rotated inside the rotating mould. When the molten metal comes in contact with mould cetrifugal force ill be developed and because of centrifugal force, the molten metal will be distributed along the peripheri of the mould.
