Jobs and capital are moved around the world as a result of globalization to locations that require them. It provides rich countries with lower-cost resources and labor while providing jobs and investment dollars to developing countries. Free trade is advocated for. As a result of globalization, countries are under pressure to lower tariffs, subsidies, and other trade barriers. As a result, economic growth is boosted, jobs are created, businesses become more competitive, and consumer prices fall.
