The achiral amino acid from the 20 essential amino acid has to be identified.

Concept introduction: A molecule is achiral if it is superimposible on its mirror image.

An achiral carbon atom is substituted by two same groups.

Chiral carbon forms four different bonds. A molecule is known as  chiral if it is not superimposible on its mirror image. Some chiral molecule are known by their lack of plane of symmetry and centre of symmetry.

Explanation

A molecule is achiral if, it is superimposible on its mirror image.

In glycine all the four group attached with alpha carbon are not different. Glycine has two hydrogen atoms on the alpha carbon atom that makes it achiral amino acid as shown below:
