Emma VS. Clueless 1.How do you think the new and old versions represent different aspects of their societies/times? What are the similarities and differences? Both clueless and Emma are in my opinion a story of an entitled young lady that was made to realize what “normal” people already knew, that you can’t fix everything until you fix yourself. 2. How does each version reflect the culture and time period in which it exists? With Clueless everything is set in Beverly Hills, where the money is. They writer of the script used popular slang language of the time. In Emma all the activities I saw in the trailer were what I would think a woman of stature would do in those days. 3. After considering the examples presented, think about the artifact that you chose for Project 1. Pose one question regarding the relationship between human culture and expression in relation to your artifact. Explain one approach you may take to find the response to the question posed. How is the relationship between Sam, Dean, and Cas like a relationship between a set of three siblings that may not be blood related but are family? One approach I would take to answer this question is to look at my own personal relationship between myself and two sisters.
