Part 1 This research paper focuses on how members of Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church 5780 West Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, Florida 33484 interacted and behavior toward one another. Sunday, October 4th is when I conducted my observation at Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church 5780 West Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, Florida 33484. When I arrived my temperature was taken, a lady in the lobby checked to see if I reserved a spot to come to the sanctuary that day and I was also given hand sanitizer before getting access to enter the sanctuary. I stood six feet away from the lady in the lobby and I observed as they did the exact same things to me to every single person that came to the sanctuary that Sunday. For COVID-19 precautions they only had a limited amount of people come each Sunday. She told me that Sunday as I stood a couple of feet away from the lady, I counted 73 people that came to the Sunday service. After stranding behind the lady for about 10 to 15 minutes, I moved on and went to find my seat for the Sunday service. Still taking COVID-19 precautions, ushers greeted me at the entrance and seated me and everyone else with at least 3 seats in between. As members of the church's worship team came out to start the service, people seated in the crowd stood up and started singing with them. They sang to start the service, then they prayed, then they sang some more. After all of that, they prayed, collected offerings. They collected offerings by putting two pedestals in the middle of the rows as people got up from their seats, went up to the buckets and placed their offering in. All of this was done of course for COVID-19 precautions. After all that was over people settled back in their seat without making any type of physical contact with each other. Then they gave the announcements for the church for the week, after the pastor said the
announcements the predictor came up and spoke for about 30 to 40 minutes. After the conclusion of the speaker speaking, they wrapped up the service by praying one last time and giving benediction. As service ended at 12:48 pm, the people in the audience for the service that day were given specific instruction on how they were required to exit the building. People were who were seated on the far left were instructed to exit from the exit door on the left of the building, people in the middle aisle were instructed to exit the sanitary from the door that was in the back of the sanctuary and people in the far right isle were instructed to exit the sanctuary from the exit door on the right of the sanctuary. Hansci Jeudy (470) Part 2 To further elaborate on my study in this fieldwork, I have made the concise decision to focus on the concept of changes. I have chosen to use the methodology of interviews to conduct my research. I chose the key concept of changes, because the year 2020 has had a lot of key events that have caused the whole world to change. The most prominent of those events is a worldwide pandemic (Covid-19.) Due to this virus for a good amount of time during 2020 school, and places that hold crowds of people were forced to close. Baptist Church 5780 West Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, Florida 33484 is not any different, they were forced to close all of their operating functions. No one was allowed to enter the
building in groups, so as they started to open up again I was intrigued by the sudden change in the view of the church, its teaching and the people. My methodology of choice is interviews, I chose to go this route because I want to talk to the leader of Baptist Church 5780 West Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, Florida 33484, and I wanted to get a first hand account from him about any changes in the culture of the church to due to currents situation. By speaking to the leader of Baptist Church 5780 West Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, Florida 33484, he will give me insight into things such as doctrine change if there was any and also if the pandemic changed how the church viewed the world, people and life. Knowing this information will then allow me to connect the dots in my fieldwork. Which will then lead me to answer questions such as: How do changes in the world bring about changes in knowledge? And To what extent can change be imposed rather than be chosen as an act of autonomous agency? Hansci Jeudy (314) Part 3 For this assignment, I have decided to use interviews as my method of gathering information. The subject I explored was how change at Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church 5780 West Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, Florida 33484 brought about new knowledge. I chose to interview the head pastor and one member at Bethel Evangelical Baptist Church 5780 West Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, Florida 33484. The first person I
