I'm finding and have learned that mental health and early childhood development does play a key role in drug abuse. Most people try to escape from their mental health ordeals or how they were raised and use drugs to cope and forget about those things. Criminality goes hand- in-hand with drug abuse because eventually feeling vacant and lost which could lead to lack

of steady income or respect for yourself and others, resorts to criminal behavior due to drug abuse weighing heavy on ones self and chemically altering their brains. Altering their behavior and natural responses to people and situations. My questions still remain the same as do my thoughts during my preliminary research. Module Three Question 4 Can you narrow your focus at all? If so, what do you wish to focus on? If you have a few options, what are they? (You don't necessarily need to narrow your focus. My focus and wish to focus on is how the early childhood years and mental health factor into drug abuse that further leads into criminal behavior.
