Wesley McCutcheon January 31st, 2023 Stats Assignment Question 1: Short Report The question addressed the topic of various dust types and if they were related to the number of asthma attacks suffered by children in the one year following exposure. The population size was 18 children. I found the results using ANOVA to be that when looking at the F-stat value and the F-critical value, it was found that the F-stat value was more significant than the F-crit value, meaning we reject Ho in which I concluded that at least one mean is diff. I then completed an LSD post hoc comparison test to figure out which mean was statistically insignificant. I located the tcrit (15) value to be 2.131. My report was that the test front vs. middle (X1, X2) was found to have a value of 2.27, meaning it was statistically significant. Next, I tested front vs. back (X1, X3) and found a value of 3.18, which was also statistically significant. Lastly, I tested middle vs. back (X2, X3), which had a value of 0.909, meaning it was not
