Traditional news media involves print and televised news. Newspapers, books and magazines are forms of print media, while TV and radio make up broadcast media. Conventional
media even today is vital in society as its the main source of news for a large number of individuals. Because these media outlets are responsible for shaping public opinion they are equally responsible for providing accurate information. Many believe traditional media is more reliable thanks to monitoring and regulations that make it unlikely to consist of inaccurate or deceptive information.
