Personal Philosophy of Education Thinking back to my days in elementary school, I remember us going around the room and getting asked what we would like to be when we grew up. I proudly would always say “a teacher!” with a smile beaming. I was always so moved by the teachers who shaped me. Those teachers showed me how important it is to put my future students first and maintain a positive relationship as they grow in my class. I still keep in touch with those special teachers and keep them updated on all my endeavors which I can tell it warms their heart knowing they made a difference in their past student’s life. My perspective is that establishing an inclusive learning environment where students feel validated and understood is paramount. My ultimate objective is to provide comprehensive support to students in all academic areas, providing them the tools to reach success within themselves and in their education. Students should be given the opportunity to oversee how they learn to aid in their success. Giving children their own say in what works for their mind, body, and spirit within their education career is a huge deal in their success. Education plays a vital role
in preparing students for their future careers and lives, and I believe that by building personal connections with them, educators can make a significant difference in their lives. My educational
philosophy is based on the principle that every child is unique and necessitates personalized learning experiences that nurture positive growth in physical, mental, emotional, and social domains. By accommodating each student's particular requirements, we can accelerate their potential and help them achieve their academic goals.
While becoming a teacher, it becomes more apparent that every student is special in their own way and has differing learning abilities and needs. The ability to differentiate and include all
students in the learning experience is key to creating a positive and efficient learning

environment. Inclusion and differentiation provide students with the opportunity to learn at their own pace and in a way that is tailored to their individual learning style. Differentiation is an approach to teaching that involves modifying instruction and materials to meet the needs of individual students. It recognizes that each student is unique, with different learning styles, abilities, and interests. By tailoring instruction to meet these individual needs, differentiation helps ensure that all students can learn and succeed. One way to differentiate instruction is by providing students with a variety of learning activities that tap into different learning styles. For example, some students may prefer to learn through hands-on activities, while others may prefer to learn through reading and writing. By offering a range of activities, teachers can help engage all students in the learning process. Another way to differentiate instruction is by adjusting the level of challenge for each student. This might involve providing additional support to struggling
students, or challenging advanced students with more complex tasks. By providing the right level
of challenge, teachers can help ensure that all students are learning and growing. Overall, differentiation is an effective approach to teaching that helps ensure that all students can learn and succeed. By recognizing and responding to the unique needs of each student, teachers can help create a more inclusive and effective learning environment.
We must recognize the diversity of students and use inclusion and differentiation in teaching practices to create a positive and effective learning environment. By connecting with each student on a personal level, educators can gain insight into their unique needs and preferences, allowing them to create lessons and activities that are engaging and relevant to each student. In doing so, educators can help all students achieve their full potential and succeed in their academic pursuits. As an educator, my objective is to equip students with diverse methods to learn, so that they can confidently soak up then later showcase their knowledge learned.
