I completely agree with what this organization stands for and is about, bringing good and light
to the LGBTQ+ community. Overall, GLAAD is a media source that tackles essential news and
topics within the LGBTQ+ Community. This news and issues range from battling discrimination
with facts to increasing media accountability, ensuring these topics and stories are brought to
light and actualized.

the author's credibility by thoroughly searching for articles on the related topic.

the related field, making them trustworthy.

My source was not randomly selected online. I utilized Google Scholar, best known
for providing solid, credible sources for professional papers. All information is presented
professionally.
Relevance:
The article contains sufficient accurate information needed relating to my topic.
The source did not go discussion one thing to another, smooth transitions throughout the
source.
Purpose:
All Information within the article is essential as it brings light to a crucial issue that
is going on within the LGBTQ+ community. Many youths and adults within the community
battle with anxiety and depression caused by the hate and bigotry within society. It's vital to
acknowledge and bring awareness to these issues.
Briefly describe how you feel the article relates to your chosen organization. You will develop
this reasoning in the Signature Assignment, based on what you research about the organization.
This article relates to my chosen organization because the purpose is to tackle and bring light
to many issues within the LBGTQ+ community, as GLAAD does. The article discusses the
increase in mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety, affecting young gay men
seven more since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. As mentioned in the article, a
study is included, as well as resources and ways to combat these mental health issues arising
within the LGBTQ+ community.
