EXPERIMENT 4: SKIN RECEPTORS Introduction Questions 1. Certain areas of the body will have a greater concentration of skin receptors. Formulate a hypothesis that aims to predict where you will find the highest and lowest density of receptors. Use what you know about skin receptors to provide reasoning that backs up your hypothesis. The areas of the body that are most used for touching/sensing will have a higher concentration of skin receptors than areas that are less involved in touching/feeling. f the fingertips and lips are most involved in touching/feeling, then those areas will have the highest concentration of skin receptors.
