KAISER PERMANENTE: ILP – INTRODUCTION 2 Kaiser Permanente Key Concepts – Introduction Being an organization that has operations existing in eight states and the District of Columbia, Kaiser Permanente has been recognized as one of the United States’ leading providers of health care and nonprofit health plans for its members and communities. In the study of organization management, one will explore a plethora of concepts that are designed to further leaders’ ability in decision-making, communications, and time management. Eight (8) concepts considered material to the academic study of Organization Management, when defined by a consultant for Kaiser Permanente (i.e., the author), can allot for applicable, value-added recommendations. The totality of this study will allow for value-added recommendations resulting from the bridging of the academic sector and organizational improvement techniques for Kaiser Permanente through literature reviews on benchmarking, Triple Bottom Line, lean production, Kano Model, balanced scorecard, innovation, Six Sigma, and Enterprise Resource Planning for real-world, improvement application.
