5-2 Milestone Two Submission Identify key considerations that are needed to create an effective message for the intended audience. When formulating a message that is effective for the diverse audience for which it is intended, we need to ensure that we take the facts and information that we have received and ensure that we are both making it plain and making it as succinct as possible. Make sure that everyone is clear and focused on the task at hand. We have an obligation to ensure that our vision and mission statements are comprehensible and can be communicated effectively in any medium we decide to use. In conclusion, we need to make sure that our nonverbal cues are clear and effective. This is important for determining whether or not we are the target audience for the text. Words are wonderful, but body language is of the utmost importance as well. Explain how current delivery methods could be improved to better reach the target audiences. Increasing the range of distance over which the employees distribute the coupons is one manner in which our existing delivery techniques might be improved to better serve the target audience. We need to make sure that we are looking for regions that have a lot of foot traffic so that we can concentrate our efforts there. It is also very important that our Facebook page always has the most recent information. It may be in our best interest to broaden our use of social media in order to maximize our potential returns. In addition to the activities that were already being carried out, pursuing opportunities on Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn would be very fruitful. Describe potential issues that may arise when the targeted message is delivered . We need to count on the fact that the majority of visitors will be unfamiliar with the area, bearing in mind that San Francisco is a popular destination for tourists. It is imperative that the meaning of our message be understood. Additionally, we have the responsibility of ensuring that the value is incorporated into the message. As was mentioned earlier, while we are communicating the message, we need to make sure that we do not limit ourselves to using only wheelies. In the event that this is not carried out appropriately, it would be considered a miscommunication of our objective. The barrier of language is a further potential issue that may occur. We should examine the data to determine whether or not we have potential native speakers of foreign languages who are available to assist us when and if this becomes necessary.
Identify ways the targeted messages may reach unintended audiences. If everything is done properly, the targeted messages that are communicated to the intended audience will, in turn, be relayed by word of mouth to the audience that was not supposed to hear them. If we are able to satisfy the requirements of our intended demographic. Also included will be the audience that was not intended. This is the objective that we should be shooting for if we want Wheelies to be competitive. The use of social media will be a huge aid in this regard. I have faith that the algorithm of the various social media sites will push us to the forefront as our number of followers and likes increases. The unintended recipients of that message will be reached as a result of this, the partnerships, and their endorsements. References Shrm. (2019, August 16). Communicating with diverse audiences.
