Description of the Experience Using Jumbo cardboard blocks, the learning experience is intended to expose children to the concept of counting. The emphasis is on establishing a joyful and sensory-rich environment that supports motor skill development and early exposure to numbers.
Justification: Jumbo cardboard blocks give toddlers a tactile experience. The diverse textures and forms of the blocks can excite their sense of touch and help them develop fine
motor skills. These blocks promote imaginative play. Children can construct constructions, develop designs, and devise their games, fostering creativity and innovative thinking. Using gigantic cardboard blocks in a group situation encourages social interaction. Children may cooperate, share ideas, and work together to develop larger buildings. This promotes teamwork and communication
abilities. I have seen their interest in building blocks and while playing they were counting 1,2,3 when they were stacking the blocks.
Learning Area
This activity will take place on block area where they can engage in stacking and involving in math concepts with the cardboard blocks.
Potential Learning for the Children As they move and carry the giant cardboard blocks, children will learn gross motor skills. Lifting, carrying, and placing bricks in particular positions are all part of the job. Building buildings with blocks necessitates precise hand movements, which promotes the development of fine motor skills. While creating, children will face problems that will test their problem-solving abilities as they figure out how to construct secure structures. Exploring forms, sizes, and patterns with the blocks provides a hands-on and concrete introduction to basic mathematical principles. Building using big cardboard blocks allows youngsters to express themselves via their creations, which aids in emotional development. Group play with the blocks promotes verbal communication. Children improve their communication abilities by discussing their ideas, planning together, and articulating their opinions.

Space:
An open and safe play environment where children can freely walk around and create with the big cardboard blocks is required for the learning experience. The quantity of space required is determined by the number of children playing as well as the size of the blocks. Make sure there's enough space for children to stretch out and collaborate without feeling crowded.
My role during the experience My job as an educator will be complex during the learning experience using jumbo cardboard blocks, including many responsibilities to support a rich and engaging setting for the children. I will mostly serve as an observer, carefully monitoring the children as they play with the blocks to determine their specific interests, developmental stages, and problem-solving abilities. In addition, I'll act as a collaborator, actively participating in building projects, encouraging teamwork, and boosting communication among the students. Also, I'll organize
the resources and create an attractive play area that inspires creativity.
