Mini Organizational Ethnography Paper: Topic & Outline
The Organization I have chosen to write about is DME Delivers. A print production based marketing company where I myself work. The Approach I have chosen is a classical approach. I'll be making the analysis using The Machine Metaphor
under Henri Fayol's Theory of Classical Management model. I have decided to use this model and approach because it seems to be the best representation of the current organizational structure and communication style at DME Delivers. I also belive the production focus
of the organization makes it a good fit for the mechanical metaphor
type processes as in that proposed by Henri Fayol. Fayol's principles of management can be addressed and disseminated in four parts, “The Principles of Organizational Structure , Organizational Power , Organizational Reward, and Organizational Attitude, as seen in our text Miller (2015)
