Think about your best skill and your biggest challenge when it comes to communicating at school or work. Give one example of how you'll use your communication skills in class
and one example at your job.
What things can you do to get better at your weak points in speaking and writing? Why do you think these actions will help?
Honesty and doing the right thing are crucial in school because, in order to learn, you must use your own ideas and not copy others. These values also matter at work. Share a
time you've seen dishonesty or ethical problems at work and explain why it's important to have integrity in those situations.
My best skills and biggest challenges when it comes to communicating within the workforce. During my years of experience with law enforcement in the security field I gained a lot of experience and skills. Such as communicating with coworkers, staff and residential tenants. While working as a Security Supervisor with Capital Force Security in the community of Phoenix Park Apartments I’ve exercised my writing skills by reading and typing my reports for management. During my workdays I practiced my grammar through typing words which excelled my English skills and punctuations. Reading books about crime and police incident reports also helped me tackle integrity. When working with the Sacramento Police I showed integrity and honesty. I was well respected in the community during that time. It didn’t matter about their ethnicity and/or their ethnic background. Management and Law Enforcement of the
community did care about my thoughts and input of the community. I was awarded the Hometown Hero Award for my bravery, courage, strength, and honesty. Throughout those years that I worked in those community, I was dedicated to the Security Company alongside the
Sacramento Police Department.
