2 Reflection Paper Communication is the process of transferring information from one person, group, or location to another by the use of writing, speaking, or any other media that enables one to understand what is being conveyed to them. A sender, a receiver, and a message are the three essential components of any communication (Ntara, 2021). There must always be at least one of each. Because communication has an impact on how individuals interact with one another, the transmission of a message from sender to recipient runs the danger of being impacted by a variety of factors. Among these are the geographical location, the mode of communication that is being utilized, the cultural context, and the feelings that are at play (Ntara, 2021). However, communication enables people to communicate with one another and share a variety of life experiences. Throughout this communication program I have learned about many communication concepts that play a major role in both my professional and personal life. Some examples of communication goals that individuals may want to set for themselves include improving their ability to effectively engage others, maintaining control of their emotions, or becoming more persuasive when talking (Ntara, 2021). Communication in the business world is constantly focused on achieving specific goals It is important for goals of effective business communication to be measurable and defined, as they play a vital part in the implementation of business strategy (Ntara, 2021). Setting communication objectives for yourself and actively working towards achieving those goals is an effective way to strengthen your communication skills, which in turn improves both productivity and relationships.
