This allowed her to be at their level and make eye contact, and to foster a sense of trust and open communication among them. She also encouraged communication and problem-solving among the children, allowing them to express their feelings and thoughts by asking the first child "do you want to talk to them about it?" and by allowing her to express her concerns to the girls and to come to a solution where they can all play together. She used positive language and a calm tone, and allowed all children the opportunity to speak without placing any blame or shame.
