Question: When does ANR occur?
Answer: The ANR dialog is displayed to the user based on two possible conditions. One is when there is no response to an input event within 5 seconds, and the other is when a broadcast receiver is not done executing within 10 seconds.
Question: What is the proper way of setting up an Android-powered device for app development?
Answer: The following are steps to be followed prior to actual application development in an Android-powered device: -Declare your application as “debuggable” in your Android Manifest. -Turn on “USB Debugging” on your device. -Set up your system to detect your device.
Question: Differentiate Activities from Services.
Answer: Activities can be closed, or terminated anytime the user wishes. On the other hand, services are designed to run behind the scenes, and can act independently. Most services run continuously, regardless of whether there are certain or no activities being executed.
Question: What is the importance of having an emulator within the Android environment?
Answer: The emulator lets developers “play” around an interface that acts as if it were an actual mobile device. They can write and test codes, and even debug. Emulators are a safe place for testing codes especially if it is in the early design phase.
Question: What items are important in every Android project?
Answer: These are the essential items that are present each time an Android project is created: AndroidManifest.xml, build.xml, bin/, src/, res/, assets/
Question: What is the use of an activityCreator?
Answer: An activityCreator is the first step towards the creation of a new Android project. It
is made up of a shell script that will be used to create new file system structure necessary
for writing codes within the Android IDE.
Question: What is a Sticky Intent?
Answer: A Sticky Intent is a broadcast from sendStickyBroadcast() method such that the intent floats around even after the broadcast, allowing others to collect data from it.

An Air conditioning company “SmartAir” has just launched its new range of products. The company now intends to launch a mobile application with which the air conditioning system can be controlled. To address this challenge, the company considers designing an engineering product line.
The system, Smart Air App, should be capable of turning ON and OFF the air conditioning units installed at different locations in a house. The Temperature can be controlled and monitored. Heating, Cooling and Fresh air are three modes of the systems. Along all the mandatory features mentioned above, the Fan Control is also a required characteristic of the system. By using this App, the temperature can be put on ECO or can be set manually. At the capability layer the system Display setting can also be controlled, which include change of color and font for the user interface, however, it’s an optional feature. Furthermore, at Operating environment layer the system can be controlled via single smart phone or…

Suppose you have a new smartphone and are excited about the range of apps available for it. You read about a really interesting new game that is available for your phone. You do a quick Web search for it and see that a version is available from one of the free marketplaces. When you download and start to install this app, you are asked to approve the access permissions granted to it. You see that it wants permission to “Send SMS messages” and to “Access your address-book”. Should you be suspicious that a game wants these types of permissions? What threat might the app pose to your smartphone, should you grant these permissions and proceed to install it? What types of malware might it be?

We are developing a project using Turtlebot and Raspberry pi 3. Here's the idea:
To develop a TurtleBot3 robot with an Android app that allows users to remotely
control and incorporate collision avoidance logic using LIDAR data. The app will provide
a user-friendly interface to send commands for controlling the robot's movements, such
as forward, backward, turn left, and turn right, through virtual buttons or a joystick.
Here's the part I have to develop:
Motor Control:
Remote Control Node: This node is responsible for
receiving user inputs from the Android app,
translating them into motor control commands,
and publishing them on a specific ROS topic.
It allows users to remotely control the TurtleBot3's
movements.

A tech company has made a new app to help improve sleep hygiene. Sleep hygiene is the extent to which you have a good, healthy sleep routine--the goal of the app is to optimize the user's sleep schedule and set them up for sleep success by encouraging them to remove distracting things in their environment, minimizing light exposure prior to sleep, and helping them find their own personal best sleep routine. The tech company gives the app to a select group of college students living in the dorms on campus, and compares their sleep quality to their roommate's sleep quality, who did not get the app. Is this a directional or non-directional hypothesis?

You need to plan an aerial photography campaign to survey a 4km x 4km area located at an average elevation of 10m above sea level. Your application requires a GSD of 9 cm, an endlap of 60% and a sidelap of 30%. You use a digital camera equipped with a 7500x7500 array of detectors (produces an image that has 7500x7500 pixels) and that has a focal length of 100 mm. The physical size of each detector is 9 mm. The aircraft flies at a ground speed of 160 km/hr.
