Adobe Photoshop Layers After completing the “Work with layers” tutorial, I have saved my work as TIFF files. I believe TIFF files are the best format because it keeps the photos as high-resolution and supports layering. Using TIFF is better for more a professional look as well as for scanning and printing options. TIFF files are also universal and adaptable in their format so they can be used in many major operating systems. Adobe Illustrator Icon For this project, I decided to save my icon as an SVG file. Choosing to save my icon as an SVG file was the best because it is a vector file format that is web-friendly. The icon will maintain its resolution whether it is resized, making it ideal as a logo or online graphic. SVG files also do not take up as much space as other file types to keep its nicely styled design.
