You are a support worker at Indigo Health Hub caring for Amy Jones, DOB 10/2/1944. Amy has a history of osteoarthritis in her hands, feet and spine, cardiovascular disease, is progressively losing her eyesight and has been prone to falls. Due to her falls risk, deteriorating eyesight and inability to manage her activities of daily living independently, Amy decided to move into the care facility.
Amy does not have the fine motor skills to open her medication bottles. Her GP and her
family have had her medication placed into a dose administration aid (DAA). As Amy’s care worker, you need to get the medication out of the dose administration aid for Amy, but Amy can take her tablets herself. Amy has eye drops, but she cannot put the eye drops in herself. She also finds it hard to twist the lids off her cream or lotions to apply as required.
Since her last fall, Amy has quite a lot of pain and needs encouragement to get out of bed. Amy has pain medication as required/ PRN.
The registered nurse has completed an assessment to determine Amy’s ability to self-administer medications. She has deemed Amy competent if you:
Ensure she is sitting upright
Open medication from the packaging and place it in a medication cup in Amy’s hand.
Assist with water in a cup with straw

Property Estate AgentClients who want to sell their home go to an estate agent, who will take measurements of their home, flat, or bungalow and record them on a card that is organised by area, price range, and type of property. A similar type of card is completed by potential purchasers and filed in an A4 binder by buyer name. Church Information System
XYZ Church is a fast-growing church in Grand Rapids area. Over the past three years, since the popular Reverend Timothy Becker has taken over leadership of the congregation, the church has more than doubled in size. It now has approximately 400 registered households. Reverend John Howard has also recently been added as a second minister. Since the Church was rather small in the past, most of its records have been kept on paper forms. However, the Church’s Business Manager, Margie Roberts, has suggested to Reverend Becker that a computerized system might help the Church better meet its information needs and manage its activities.
In addition to Ms. Roberts, the Church employs a part-time administrative assistant, Mabel McGregory. Mabel performs clerical duties such as filing, record keeping, answering phone calls, and typing the weekly church bulletin using WordPerfect for Windows on the Church’s only personal computer. A retiree, Leroy Stricty, is employed…
