Check your Default Gateway Address. Is it on the same network as you? How do you know?
I used ipconfig and checked the Default Gateway. It was the same network. 3.
Find out your DNS IP Address. Is it Private or Public? How do you know?
The DNS IP Address is 8.8.8.8. This does not fall in the Private IP address range. 4.
Find out the IP Addresses for 3 of your favorite websites. Indicate whether they are private or public?
Amazon’s DNS is 205.251.242.54; it is public. Google’s address is 172.217.4.100; it is public.
Facebook’s address is 31.13.65.36; it is public.
5.
Check out what IP address you use to connect to the internet. Is it public or private?
The IP address that I use to connect to the internet is 208.67.222.222. This is
considered a public address.
6.
Trace your route from your computer to any website of your choice. How many routes do you trace?
I traced 8 routes to Amazon.com.
7.
When was your IP address leased and when is it going to expire
The lease was obtained November 10, 2023 at 4:32:09 AM. The lease expires November 10, 2023 at 12:23:59 PM
8.
Ping pccc.edu. How many packets sent? How many received?
4 packets were sent and 4 packets were received. 9.
How many routers between you and pccc.edu?
There were 4 routers between me and pccc.edu. 10.What is the IP address for Haha.com. Haha.org, Haha.edu and Haha.gov?
Haha.com: 68.178.204.6

In IPv4, the address format is a 32-bit numeric number that is frequently written as four octets separated by periods from the range [0, 255]. At the time of writing, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), with 128-bit addresses, was gradually replacing IPv4. How many IP addresses may be assigned in IPv4 and IPv6 in theory?

server when it joins network.
2. IPV6 addresses are 32 bits, while IPV4 addresses are 128 bits.
3. IPsec is standard for IP network security, available for both IPV4 and
IPV6.
4. IPSec helps to create authenticated and confidential packets for the

5. ICMP does not attempt to make IP a reliable protocol. it simply
attempts to report errors and provide feedback on specific condition.

The first byte is 198.
The second byte is the 6th and 7th numbers of your SN, for example, if your SN is 441051271, the second byte is 12
The third byte is the 8th and 9th numbers of your SN, for example, if your SN is 441051271, the third byte is 71
