To begin, you should explore all the menus and play with Sniffy and get used to the Design Operant Experiment Menu. The User’s Manual for Sniffy, The Virtual Rat Lite Version 4.0 is available in the HELP menu from within the Sniffy app. It will open in its own window so you can place it conveniently. You can read all about Sniffy and how to set up experiments in the Sniffy Manual. 3) Your instructors may give you’re a prepared Sniffy file to start with. For example, the one I use for Chapter 5 is called “Operant Start 4.0.sdf” with the Cumulative Record set to record Bar Presses. We also have the Mind Window open so you see Sniffy’s learning associations. This is the MAC view.
