RUNNING HEAD: The Future of Energy 1 Purdue Global University Unit 4 Assignment – The Future of Energy: Guiding Decisions with Evidence SC200 – Discovering Science: Professor Snyder August 24, 2020 Introduction
RUNNING HEAD: The Future of Energy 2 The city of central Little Rock, Arkansas is a heavily urbanized area. Energy frequently derives in various diverse types and is also defined as the power that is a result from the release of a physical or compound source, particularly to offer lights and provide heat, or to make other household things work. Stodden, (2020) says, “science is cycles that suggest ways to define the landscape of data.” Energy Assessment When one discusses energy, it makes me think back to my childhood because my parents were constantly telling my siblings and me, to turn off the T.V. or lights after leaving the room. It seems that everybody requires energy for things to work and function in my home. As an adult, it is understood why it is important to cut off the T.V. when leaving a room or turning off the lights when exiting a room. Redeeming energy has grown to be very essential to me. Energy is essential for managing things in the household, work, and while getting something to eat at a Burger King drive-thru. There are three diverse economical divisions energy is distributed in commercial, residential, and transport. Residential energy is the most basic use. It consists of watching T.V. washing and drying clothes, cooking, and taking a shower. Renewed resources comprise wood, solar, and wind although non-renewed resources consist of coals and natural gases. The key source of energy used to heat and cool my home is central air/heat. Gas is the most mutual kind of fuel used to warm nearly 60% of American households (Environmental Protection Agency, 2019). The main energy source used for running all of my household appliances is electric. For electric to produce three main groupings of energy is coal, fossil fuel, natural gases, nuclear-powered energy, and renewed energy sources. The majority of powers are produced with steamed turbines with fossil fuel use, nuclear-powered, bio-mass, geothermal,

Renewable energy is often mentioned by way of unpolluted energies, which originates from natural resources or developments that are continuously refilled. For instance, wind blowing or sunshine, if the accessibility relies on climate and time. The key energy sources used for transport are gas, water, and oil. Mostly appropriate and least appropriate renewable energy resources Hydro-power is the most standard of renewable resource power. Powers of wind is a fast developing resource of power renewed. Solar-power was the third-largest resource of renewed powers. Presently, most appropriate resources of renewed energy are wind, solar, hydro, tidal, geothermal, and biomass energies (Environmental Protection Agency, 2019). The least appropriate energy of sources is renewable: wastes energy or natural gases includes conservation qualification and energy surplus. As a result, the entire efficacy of serviceable energy for coal is the smallest effective energy resource and is a percent of unique values of energy. Reasons for my choices are resources of renewed energy are logically refilled. Smallest renewable energies take a long time to create. Energy advantages and disadvantages A few benefits of renewed sources are solar energy because it keeps plants beautiful, and creates converted energy to electrical energies to have power consecutively. It does not discharge contaminants in the stratosphere similar to plants used these days and it offers a clean, healthy atmosphere. As technology advances, one will be able to continue to create things, which use renewed energy resources too. Drawbacks of non-renewable sources of energy are: yields glasshouse gases, merchandises cause injuries to the atmosphere, aggregate costs, goods profess
