The main idea of the talk is about how sampling has changed music forever. He also demonstrates and talks about how sampling in music has evolved through time and will keep doing so. 4. Mark Ronson successfully uses Ethos and Logos through his talk in multiple different ways helping the audience get a better understanding of the topic as well as proving his credibility. 5. This sentence will be your main idea for the second body paragraph I feel like the speaker used Logos in a highly effective yet odd way to demonstrate and get his point across about how sampling transformed music. a. Example 1: Give one example of the speaker using the appeal (ethos, pathos, or logos) in the speech. “Thats La Di Da DI it's the fifth most sampled song of all time it's been sampled 547 times it was made in 1984-.” b. Analysis of example. Give one sentence explaining why this example would or would not help to convince the audience. Here the speaker uses Logos in an effective way by playing the song and then stating precise information about the record and how many times it has been sampled. c. Example 2: Give a second example of the speaker using this appeal (ethos, pathos, or logos):__ Here Ronson plays an older Biggie as well as a newer Miley Cyrus song that both sample La Di da Di. Example 2: Give one sentence explaining why this example would or would not help to convince the audience. This is a great example to show the audience and demonstrate how sampling has transformed music and keeps evolving through time by playing an older song and then a newer song that both sample the same piece in two different ways at two separate times.
