2 Homework instructions • All homework are to be submitted digitally on Canvas. • You may choose to hand-write the homework on paper, and then make a digital copy of it (using a smartphone, camera, or scanner) for submission. • If you choose to hand-write, write clearly and neatly. It is your responsibility to make sure the digital copy is complete and in good quality. Incomplete or unreadable parts of a homework may receive a zero. • You may also choose to directly type in your answers digitally using a software. Such software include LATEX (we recommend Overleaf for beginners) and Google Docs. • Submit a single PDF file which contains everything for the homework. • Paginate. • Arrange your answers in the same order as the problems. • Whenever possible, follow the notations and conventions that were used in the lectures. If you are to use your own notations, they need to be clearly defined. • Include all major steps and calculations that were used to obtain your answers. • Start early! If you have questions or need help, it may take time to solve. It is best to find these problems early so we have time to help you.
