2 Homework instructions All homework are to be submitted digitally on Canvas. You may choose to hand-write the homework on paper, and then make a digital copy of it (using a smartphone, camera, or scanner) for submission. If you choose to hand-write, write clearly and neatly. It is your responsibility to make sure the digital copy is complete and in good quality. Incomplete or unreadable parts of a homework may receive a zero. You may also choose to directly type in your answers digitally using a software. Such software include LATEX (we recommend Overleaf for beginners) and Google Docs. Submit a single PDF file which contains everything for the homework. Paginate. Arrange your answers in the same order as the problems. Whenever possible, follow the notations and conventions that were used in the lectures. If you are to use your own notations, they need to be clearly defined.
