Through skillful use of rhetorical analysis reveals the persuasive power of ethos, pathos, logos in effectively presents a persuasive argument for the early introduction of comprehensive sex education, by strategically employing expert opinions, emotional appeals, and logical reasoning, the article challenges societal preconceptions and fosters a critical discourse on the importance of educating children about sexual health from an early age. This article seems to have been written by two women, Public Health professors Lisa Lieberman and Eva Goldfarb at Montclair State University. Dr. Lisa Lieberman is an expert on adolescent and preteen health and the effects of smoking. Dr. Eva Goldfarb specializes in Human Sexuality Education, Gender, Gender and Health, Human Sexuality, Curriculum Development and Program evaluation. By empathizing with these concerns, the authors establishes a common ground with readers who may initially be skeptical. This rhetorical strategy aims to create an open dialogue and encourage readers to consider alternative viewpoints on the value of comprehensive sex education. As well logos is also employed to support the authors argument. The author presents research findings and statistics to substantiate the claim that early sex education is beneficial.
