7 September 2023 Disparities In Language: How Distinct Is My Literacy?
When writing, researchers/authors frequently use rhetorical tactics to connect data to express a purpose or an argument, as well as to make their words more effective on the audience. In this essay, I will show how rhetorical approaches in language are used on a regular basis in a variety of situations. Many of us employ rhetorical strategies every day to compare, define, describe, persuade, resolve conflict, and address a specific audience. Many people nowadays are drawn to those who share their interests, views, and life experiences. Those that have similar interests find it easier to communicate with one another.
Connecting with people who have nothing in common can be tough, and adapting to that person's environment, beliefs, or way of speaking can be extremely difficult. For example, I've always lived with my mother, seeing my father and siblings on his side every other week. When around my mother's side, I am more open since that's who I'm always around. On my father's side, I'm the black sheep. It's difficult to strike up a discussion with them because I have nothing in common with them. When I talk to my mom's family, I can joke and talk about our life experiences, while when I talk to my dad's side, I feel left out because we have nothing in common, thus the conversation is dull. A better illustration would be a child from Metro Detroit speaking in a different language to a child who moved from New York to Metro Detroit. As a result of their diverse life experiences, lingo, and other

viewpoints on life, the two individuals may talk differently with each other than with their friends.
A further illustration is how I communicate with my parents as opposed to my therapist. I find it difficult to discuss certain topics with my parents because I am afraid of being judged. A therapist, on the other hand, is trained to prioritize the needs of the patient over their own feelings or ideas, which makes it easier to discuss some topics with them. Furthermore, in order to retain anonymity, I prefer to speak with my therapist rather than my parents, but others may choose to speak with relatives rather than a stranger. When I talk to my parents, I expect them to provide physical comfort, convey their point of view, compare, distract, or divert us; when I talk to a therapist, I expect them to help me develop self-esteem,
change my understanding, develop coping skills, and see myself in a different light. An additional instance of how I adjust my vocabulary is how I speak to my partner rather than my siblings. When it comes to my significant other, I may be nice and submissive, yet when it comes to my siblings, we show tough love. Fighting, insulting one another, and other actions are used to express ourselves. Furthermore, rhetorical approaches are words that transmit meaning and generate an audience response. Rhetorical methods can be utilized in both writing and conversation. In both circumstances, underline your key points and appeal to emotions and reasoning to help build the connection. Rhetorical strategies can aid communication by improving comparisons, creating claims, and allowing listeners to connect what you're saying. In writing, rhetorical tactics are used to evoke emotional responses and affect the audience. People from various locations may converse differently than others from the same area. When you both use different abbreviations and have distinct understandings, it is simpler to
