Beaty 1 Fletcher Ch.10 Abigail Beaty Park University Edu 300 Writing in Education Professor Jay Niceswanger September 24, 2023 My Grandparents Farm My grandparent's farm in Holt, Missouri is one of my favorite places in the world. It is so peaceful, beautiful in every season, and a place that makes me feel at home. I have so many fond memories there at the farm. My grandparent's farm brought my family and me closer together. During the summers we would go visit them when we lived overseas and I was always excited to see my grandparents there because they were always so welcoming. The farm had 87 acres and I remembered there was so much to explore on their land. They had so many trees, a huge field of corn, and a beautiful garden. I remember helping my grandma garden during the summers. My grandparent's farm is my favorite place to be, it is what I call home. The setting of my story includes my grandparent's farm in Missouri and Florida, where my parents met. I think my story would be a little different if it was set in a different place because it is a time and place where my narrative exists. The setting of your story is important because it is not possible for a story to exist without a setting.
