(40 points) Two Bodies Found Near Siloam Springs Two bodies were found this weekend in the area near Siloam Springs and Lookout Tower Road, with the first being found on Saturday afternoon, and the second on Sunday at 2 p.m., the Benton County Sheriff’s Office confirmed. Back in November and December, law enforcement from multiple agencies, including the FBI, searched a wooded area nearby. A mother, 35-year-old Carol Davidson, and her 18-month-old daughter RoseMarry went missing 99 days ago in the Siloam Springs area after last being seen on Saturday, Nov. 12. The identities of the two found bodies are still unclear, and police are not connecting the discovery to Carol and RoseMarry Davidson. The sheriff’s office would not comment on the gender or age of the found bodies at this time. “At this point, we are not giving any information or have any information to share,” said Sergeant Shannon Jenkins with the sheriff’s office. “This is the area of Carol Davidson and that is bringing a lot of attention to this body that has been found, but at this point, there is no identity to the body. So as far as pinning the body on her, there is no information.” Police say they’ve concluded their investigation of the area, but they will regroup once the autopsies, scheduled for Tuesday, have been completed and the identities have been revealed. This whole sentence confuses me. They’re going to reveal the identities and complete the autopsies at the same time? Wouldn’t it make more since that they would regroup after the autopsies, then reveal the identities later?
