Yes; the support of non-Native Alaskans in government and other influential positions, such
as Secretary of the Interior, who had previously served as Governor of Alaska, pushed for a
settlement more favorable to Natives than previously seen in the U.S.

I would say that this course has changed the way I think about writing. I would say that I
have a deeper understanding historical events. You can analyzes history in so many ways.

Some of the events in the trail of tears I never knew. The Native Americans seem to have
went through constant battles and turture and they tried their best to protect their land.
