It provides support services in addition to providing a stable home. Apart from rapid increase of globalisation, homelessness has been overlooked geographically. Housing First: A housing model rooted in harm reduction with potential to transform health care access for highly marginalized Canadians. Canadian Family Physician , 67 (7), 481–483. https://doi.org/10.46747/cfp.6707481 This article is about the Housing First model which focuses on people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. This model helps minimize homelessness and provide people with a stable home with additional supports. It explains the philosophy of how housing is a basic right and that people who are homeless or are vulnerably housed should be provided with permanent housing. Which also offers support services for individuals that are focused on reducing harm, with a goal regarding social and community integration. References
