Impacts in Climate Change
As we continue to live life in planet earth, climate change continues and is the most discussed
topic in the world. Climate change means a change in the world’s climate. We have noticed
through our present time, and we see wide range diversity in unnormal behavior in the world
climate, adding continuous natural calamities heatwaves. Oceans around the world are warming
and becoming acidic, sea levels are rising, and icebergs are melting and because of it, these
changes will grow and continue to perform to life as usual. Today, I want to share and propose a
great challenge for all of us to keep reminding our people to take care of the planet but most
importantly acting now and plan on how to survive to keep existing on the face of this earth.
We have learned there are many causes to take into consideration when it comes to climate
change. Now, please let me share one of the main examples with you, although global warming
is the first main reason, there are other reasons that increase global warming at the same time.
Carbon dioxide emissions are what cause and drive-up global warming. Based on the EPA
website (United States Environmental Protection Agency) over the years, “our human
performance in activity released a loads of carbon dioxide along with other greenhouse gases
into the atmosphere”.
Therefore, we need to come together and do our best to understand the
many ways this is affecting our lives and future. These gases around the earth are like a blanket
covering the earth. The heat and energy produced from the earth is trapped within its layers.
Planet earth is becoming warmer. This is what greenhouse effect is which is necessary to help
support life on earth. Secondly, the burning of fossil fuels, the smoke of mills and factories, and
environmental pollution are responsible for producing carbon dioxide and other gases. There was
an article from a reliable educated source published online regarding sensitive information on
fossil fuels. Based on the article, “we use this energy to generate electricity, and to power
transportation (for example, cars and planes) along with industrial processes.”
Unfortunately,
these gases cause climate change. Thirdly, the destruction of forests intensifies global warming
and causes ecological imbalance.
In the kindest and informal words for all people from around the globe, multiple impacts on
climate change are not good for us; we need to do our best to look out for all the signs and do our
best to act now. You can go on to Google right now and simply type “how to help with climate
change” in the search bar. You will find multiple non-profit organizations and agencies that are
helping with this cause. Each webpage that you find regarding this topic can help based on the
following type of climate change impact that you wish to help. For example, climate change can
include and not limit to temperature rise cause, erratic rainfall cause, the rise of floods cause,
cyclones, drought, and ice sheets melting which will seriously affect agriculture and livelihood,
especially in vulnerable countries. We need to find ways to improvise and communicate between
all countries. A couple of months ago, I saw an article published online by the Ocean
Conservancy saying that our other brothers and sisters from China, Russia, are conducting deep
research in our artic nations breaking and melting icebergs with the purpose of finding gems and
other minerals that can bring money to them, but it needs to stop. I know that this can help
tremendously as we would be keeping our ice for a much longer period. If we do not do this now,
this will also affect wildlife. Warm climate will affect our water supplies, food production,
power, and transportation system, our natural environment, our health, and safety.
