Standard K.1.2
Obtain, evaluate, and communicate information on the effect of forecasted weather patterns on human
behavior. Examples could include how humans respond to local forecasts of typical and severe weather
such as extreme heat, high winds, flash floods, thunderstorms, or snowstorms.
Learning Objective(s):
Students will learn that there is a pattern to weather and learn about the weather for the seasons.
Students will be
able to identify the four seasons and correctly pick a weather condition that corresponds with the season 3 out of 4
times.
