Choose one (1) and in your DBForum:A. Introduce the PlanB.Describe population and placeC. Delineate the name and mission of the organizationD. List all coalition member organizations and the activities/services that are identified aspartners in response to a community disaster/emergency.E. Describe howthe plan would play out by addressing who, what, where, how, when, why Introduction. The plan involves establishment common strategic goals aligned to the missionof the urgency. Additionally, it consists of elements of emergency prediction, fastresponse to emergencies, and recovery.Step-by-step explanationDescription of the Population and PlaceThe population involved include mixed races such as Americans, AfricanAmericans, Red Indians, and other races in the United States of America. Moreprecisely, FEMA operates in all states in American helping children, men, andwomen during emergency crisis. The Organization and its MissionThe Federal Emergency Management Agency can be described as a federalagency that is responsible for leading the nation's efforts to prepare for, protectagainst natural calamities and man-made incidents, and recover from theimpact of such events. The mission of FEMA is to support the citizens and firstrespondents to promote that as a nation we work together to build, sustain, andimprove our capability to prepare for, protect against, respond to, recover from, and mitigate all hazards.PartnersMost importantly, FEMA works in collaboration with other organizations such asDepartment of Homeland Security and other fast respondents such as Red Crossand St Johns. The partners assist in providing first aid, saving lives, providingbasic needs, counseling, among others. EvaluationThe FEMA evaluation plan is based on threat and hazard risk assessments whichplay a role in creating awareness to the communities as well as estimating thecapabilities required. However, the evaluation does not take into considerationthe specific needs of diverse communities.Application of the PlanFor instance, in the event fire outbreak in a building in Chicago, FEMA willcoordinate with fast respondents including the Red Cross and Chicago FireDepartment. The group will rush to the scene, save lives by conducting anevacuation, first aid, and treatment. The objective of the team will be tominimize losses of lives and property. Additionally, the survivors will be providedwith basic needs or taken to
safety during the recovery process.TDEM works closely with local jurisdictions, state agencies, and federal partnersin ensuring Texas becomes more resilient for future disasters. TDEM staff arestationed statewide and serve six different regions. Whether natural or man-made, TDEM is prepared and ready to respond to all future disastObjectives The overall objectives of the State Plan are to: ▪ Protect all people within the state ofTexas against the greatest threats and hazards in a manner that allows vital interests and normalactivities tothrive. ▪ Reduce the loss of life and property by lessening the impact of disasters. ▪Respond quickly to save lives, protect property and the environment, and meet basic humanneeds in the aftermath of an incident. ▪ Assist communities recovering from an incident withcontinued stabilizationof vital life support systems and community restoration.Note that the state and its jurisdictions rely on the National Incident Management System(NIMS) for planning, training, exercising for, and responding to emergencies and disasters.
