Step 1: What is that map showing? The map shows us the data that was collect in 2017 about how many babies die and where they were from. As we are able to see, the country that has the most infant mortality rate is in central Africa.

I am able to see is that Africa has the highest amount of infant mortality rate because they are a third world country that does not have the medical expertise and tools to help the baby. Another thing is that there are many diseases that originate from there. Another thing that I noticed was that the first world countries have around 5 to 10 infant deaths.
Step 3: Explain the pattern.
The first pattern was that Africa is a third world country because they are countries that are still developing and that they don't have all the tools to improve their livelihood. The second pattern was that many of the first world countries have a fatality rate between 5-10. This is because these countries have to tools and medical experience to help keep the baby alive longer to treat it.
