The Ethics Committee is a collaborative team composed of physicians, nurses, social workers, administrators, chaplains, and other employees. This committee doesn’t only help resolve ethically challenging dilemmas that needs to go beyond the normal protocol that was in place for less challenging dilemmas. The hospital ethics committee also helps staff with any concerns and questions they may have and stay educated on updated policies and procedures when put in place or proposed changes.
