A Day in the Life Needs Assessment
During my meeting with Mrs. Amerson we discussed the schools CIP plan. She stated that a needs assessment was conducted prior to creating the CIP plan and that this plan was developed by the leadership team at our school. Upon creating the CIP the team work together to determine the needs of the students within the school. The determined that literacy and numerical needs were the most needed. Goals where set for the students. With current CIP Each student is expected to make some type of growth in all areas. Mrs. Amerson mentioned that data was used to measure the outcome of the CIP and that goals that are developed does adequately address the identified needs of the students. Mrs. Amerson along with her leadership team provided me a copy of the actions and strategies that are
used to achieve the goals that are set forth. All teachers grade pre-k-5

grade are all a part of the actions steps that are placed. The school as a whole will be expected to make gains in all grade levels by using the developed CIP. Monitor Plan of Action
Monthly Data and RTI meetings are held to review the progress of students to ensure that
the CIP that is in place is beneficial to our students or if the plan should be revised. If revivisons are need the leadership team comes together to develop a new plan. The data and RTI meetings are held from August to May of each school year. Shadowing Experience, PSEL, and Future Practice
