The purpose of this unit 3 discussion post assignment will be to analyze and and compare in
contrast of the various ways in which both local and state governments partner together when it
comes to working with healthcare facilities and organizations trying to encourage integration
between public health and primary care. This assignment will also try to explain why it is
imperative for bring both public health and primary care together when it comes to dealing with
some of the most serious medical challenges concerns.
Many officials and government agencies in some instances can or may have a significant
role or responsibility when it comes to the manner in which healthcare organizations or facilities
serve and provide the necessary needs for their respective communities or constituents. Roles
that are most relevant to both that of the local and state governments are being able to respond
with definitive actions that are deemed to be necessary and important due to rapid and growing
healthcare delivery method or system which for the most part requires a combined effort when it
concerns or deals with combining public health and primary care (Bramhill & Schilling, 2020).
There are numerous methods and procedures that both local and state governments utilize to
ensure for the preservation and effectiveness for public health and safety. Tracking and
maintaining of the patient population by way of surveillance during any catastrophe or pandemic
outbreak detrimental to the public health can prove to be imperative when trying to bolster or
increase transparency for the process of immunizations critical for gaining the trust of both
public and private sectors. Local and state governments must also learn to work directly and
diligently with public healthcare organizations and facilities for the purpose of subsidizing care
for those communities that may be deemed as being poor and susceptible and in some cases tend
to more at risk of poor health conditions as opposed to those with access to direct care. The
availability of having education and counseling publicly provided can prove to be a valuable
method or process necessary to ensure that the patient community is informed properly of the
manner in which maintain proper and sustainable health (Bramhill & Schilling, 2020).
Collaboration among both the private sector and public community can take on or produce
many forms such as increased communication that makes it easy to convey the exchange of
information and the development additional agencies with the ability to oversee specific
challenges that are critical in regards to the success of public healthcare. By being able to
identify or recognize the disparities that exist between the private sector and public community.
Relationships that are defined between the private and public healthcare systems can prove
to be challenging at times due to perception by the public of shared goals mand ethics for
improved healthcare, however, not necessarily to interact. The government of the United States
uses approximately a large amount of funding as the population continues to grow over time.
However there are factors associated with the large amount of funding by the government of the
United States when it deals with quality and access to care and the overall health of the country.
