The websites had a lot of issues and trends in the quality and efficiency of health care delivery in the
United States. There are so many different issues and trends that have come about in health care since
Covid. The main issue was insurance, and the trend was technology doing virtual visits. The insurance
issue is where a lot of people could not afford insurance and were losing their insurance because jobs
were letting employees go due to Covid. The trend was that most doctors started doing virtual visits to
keep everyone safe from Covid by reducing in person visits. The Six Sigma are to define, measure,
analyze, improve, and control. Lean is a set of principles, practices, and methods for designing,
improving, and managing processes (Schweilhart, 2009). The lean role in health care with the issues and
trends during Covid was to be trying to make the principles, practices, and methods for designing,
improving, and managing processes to help with making it easy for people not to come in contact with
others that maybe affected. Six Sigma was also used during the pandemic by defining that Covid was the
issue, seeing how the issue would be taken care of and handled until it was under control, and always
finding new ways to deal with the new things that are crossed Covid.
