The healthcare managers are in charge of the hospital's overall administration and oversee the effective and efficient management of the hospital. They also develop and implement policies and procedures. Another area where healthcare administrators are essential is financial management where they design and oversee the hospital's budget. In addition, healthcare managers serve as a point of contact between the hospital and the community. They form and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations. It is recommended that the positions of Oncology Clinic Manager, Rheumatology Clinic Manager, and Oncology Billing Manager be eliminated. These jobs can be eliminated because the duties associated with them may be assigned to other employees. Employees from the oncology office can manage the clinic, eliminating the need for an oncology clinic manager. The position of oncology billing manager can be eliminated since the staff in the oncology office is capable of handling billing. The manager position for the clinic can be removed because the rheumatology office staff can oversee it. Other staff members of the organization may take on the duties of the clinic managers for rheumatology, nephrology, and oncology. The role of oncology clinic manager may be filled by staff members in the oncology office. The nephrology and rheumatology clinic manager positions can be taken over by the clinical services director or administrative staff. Eliminating these positions will save Herzing Hospital $165,000 a year. The oncology clinic will be run by the employees of the oncology office and the oncology clinic will be

run by the oncology office staff as well. The rheumatic clinic will be run by the staff of the rheumatology office.
