Goal Completion Date Actual Completion Date Resiliency I will take 20 minutes a day to reflect how I'm feeling and process the thoughts going on in my mind instead of just shutting down by talking to someone I can trust. This will help me better understand my feelings and emotions. 2023-12-01 Will focus on identify my stressors and getting into therapy within 12 weeks in efforts to help manage my stress levels and build stronger resilience. 2024-01-11 Self-Management I will establish direct and clear boundaries within my life by saying 'no' fifty percent more in the next 12 weeks to help create a better work-life balance. 2024-01-11 I will set limits for myself to only allow myself to be consume with television and phone usage after 8pm until bed so that during the day I can focus on the more important projects. I know its important to stay connected but these activies can easily distact me from work, school assignments and spending time with my family. 2023-12-01 What obstacles might get in my way to achieve my skill development? How can I improve my chances of meeting my skill action items? Where can I go for support to achieve my goals considering both ECPI and personal support options? Not being able to stay constant or firm enough to actually say "no" to some people. Reminding myself that just because I say "no" doesn't make me the bad person. Reaching out to my support team more and talking with them about ways to not feel so guilty for saying "no" when I don't have the time.
Heaven Whitaker (202310E) - 2 What obstacles might get in my way to achieve my skill development? How can I improve my chances of meeting my skill action items? Where can I go for support to achieve my goals considering both ECPI and personal support options? Not being able to turn my phone off because I'm so used to being on it or worried someone might need to get a hold of me for an emergency. Design a time schedule of the times my phone will be off and give it to my emergency contact list. The biggest support would have to be myself and my boyfriend that I live with in order to make sure I stay focused and on my schedule. Having to much going on in a day that I forget to set aside 20 minutes for myself to reflect. Scheduling my days in advance and making sure to add a break for the 20 minutes needed to reflect. A scheduling programing to help keep my schedule organized and update, and also ECPI dashboard will allow me to schedule my assignments in advance. Not being able to pin point my stressors or the things that tend to trigger my stress attacks. When noticing that I'm becoming stressed focus on the things I was doing in that moment and write it down to see what triggers the attacks more often. ECPI mental health counseling or reaching out to my primary care doctor to seek therapy.
